We had mild temperatures, mostly overcast skies and flat light with the gentlest of breezes. The humidity was high but at least it didn’t rain. The shooting was good with more than half of the field posting 400 or more. Dave Willard was on fire as he wrested the traveling ‘Lieu’ trophy from Frank Shuster by 11 points. He was using his fathers pre-war Winchester Mod. 70 chambered in 30-06 and fitted with Redfield target sights. I hope to see you all in the fall for our second yearly outing and thanks for coming out to play. If you didn’t do well please come back and try again. Practice, load, be safe and healthy.
